How I work

We will talk about your difficulties and explore the underlying issues. We will try and understand why you think, feel and behave the way you do. The insight which you gain about yourself can help you to let go of patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that may have sustained you in the past, but that now cause you difficulties. Our exploration will be non-judgemental and empathic.

I offer an initial assessment session to decide whether counselling or psychotherapy is the right option for you. The initial session can be a valuable and clarifying experience even if you decide not to continue. We can then explore other options for you. Depending on your needs, I offer short-term or open-ended counselling and psychotherapy. Sessions are 50 minutes long. They take place once weekly in my consulting room in 63 St Mary Axe, London, EC3A 8AA.
